Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must have demonstrated success in translational research and be part of either a medical research institute or university.

Project suitability will be assessed in accordance with Dr Sarah Barlow’s vision, and include a written application outlining a project plan (please download the application form below).

Key Application Points

• The Dr Sarah Barlow Bowel Cancer Foundation provides grants to support medical research and innovation in young-onset (20 - 40 years age group) bowel cancer and its:.

  • early detection / screening; and / or

  • development of novel therapies

• The applicant must be a registered Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) or an eligible Private / Public Ancillary Fund with the Australian Tax Office.

• Funding for direct research costs is preferred.
